This is how you can install OS X v10.11 El Capitan Developer beta on an USB stick.
NOTE: Install this only on a none-productive machine. Make backups first!
1. Download OS X El Capitan BETA
You need to have a developer account.
https://developer.apple.com/osx/download/
2. Insert your USB drive, at least 8 GB
3. Start Terminal
Enter the following command. You will be asked for the root password.
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ 10.11\ Developer\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Name-of-your-USB-Stick/ --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ 10.11\ Developer\ Beta.app/ --nointeraction
4. Wait... until done. Will take about 10 minutes.
5. Restart you Mac with alt button hold down.
Choose "X 10.11 Developer beta"
Follow the instructions. Will take about 25 minutes.
6. Done! Happy hacking 😉
