Textedit2 is a simple plain text editor. A new version of Textedit2 is available right now. Works on OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 down to 10.6+. I added mono-type font face and line numbering. It loads and stores text in UTF-8 character format as a .txt file. Just visit https://www.flagsoft.com/cmswp/en/products/textedit2/ for more information.
